For the past 15 years Terrapin Flyer has been performing Grateful Dead music with authenticity and has featured members of the Grateful Dead extended family such as Vince Welnick, Melvin Seals, Tom Constanten, Mark Karan, Bob Bralove and combined these musicians with other prominent members of the music community. Terrapin Flyer has toured with Melvin Seals since 2004.
However, in the last 3 years the combination of guitarist Mark Karan (Ratdog/The Other Ones) and JGB's Melvin Seals with Terrapin Flyer has catapulted the band into another realm of musical exploration. The band has been on a busy schedule performing nationwide headlining festivals and prominent venues across the U.S.
